WE HAVE AN ETHICAL DUTY TO OPPOSE WARS

GOVERNMENTS SENDING MEN AND WOMEN TO WAR IS NOT MORALLY JUST

The history of mankind is the terrible story of humans inflicting needless violence on one another. This is not what it means to live a morally elevated, spiritually-filled, noble and decent life. The admonition that we should "do unto others what we wish to have done to us" is the golden rule to live by.

THE NON-AGRESSION PRINCIPLE

Regrettably, men (and some women) in high positions of power, have forced other men and women into unnecessary and unjust wars (all wars are unjust) in order to advance their personal interests. These men argue that the wars were necessary in order to protect the safety and security of those they rule over. This is ALWAYS their argument, and NEVER the truth. We must conscientiously object to all wars anywhere and everywhere. This is not simply our right, but our MORAL OBLIGATION.

Please join us-- John, Heather, Thatcher, Landrum and Laura "Scout" Johntz-- in rejecting the initiation of violence against our fellow human beings. Under no circumstances is it ever necessary to initiate force. We must always seek to deescalate all disputes and disagreements through civil discourse.

We hold, with every fiber of our beings, that all wars are unjust and that we must remain steadfast in our opposition to them. Join us in living with a concerted focus on peaceable solutions-- we must dispute all notions that entire countries must go to war or "protect", "defend" or "retaliate" against "foreign or domestic enemies". A future free from war is a very bright future for all generations!
